San Antonio Winery

A historical landmark since 1965, San Antonio Winery is the city's only working winery, with the atmosphere of a European wine estate and a welcome as warm as the sun baked hills of Tuscany. In 1917 Santo Cambianica came from Italy and founded San Antonio Winery naming it after his patron Saint St. Anthony. It has since added flavor and flair to downtown Los Angeles.
San Antonio Winery is a pre-Prohibition company and one of the last wineries owned and operated dfor four generations by the same family who founded it. Family owned and operated by Santo's nephews Stefano Riboli and histhree children Santo, Cathy and Steve at the helm.
Maddalena restaurant  named after Stefano Rivoli's late wife, is an indulgence in delicious Italian California cuisine set in an atmosphere reminiscent of an Italian trattoria. Maddalena brought the European charm of famly dining to her restaurant and the essence of her homeland with fresh pastas, grilled entree, salads, and of course wine, a welcome companion at every meal.
. Today it still produces premium quality wines from grapes grown on their vineyard estates in Napa Valley and Monterey,  grower-partner vineyards in Paso Robles, and many viticultural areas of California.
